Terms

Terms

Last updated: 1 November 2026

These Terms apply to everything you book or buy from Perspective Coworking, whether through this website or at the space. Please read them with our Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy. By booking, buying or using the space, you agree to them.

Opening hours

The space is open to members and day pass holders Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm. We are closed at weekends and on bank holidays. Hours may also change for maintenance. We will give you as much notice as we can.

Age, animals and smoking

You must be 18 or over to buy a day pass, hourly desk or membership, and to use the space. Animals are not allowed, except assistance dogs. Smoking and vaping, including e-cigarettes, are not allowed anywhere in the space.

Access

The entrance to the space is not step-free. If you have access needs, email us before you visit and we’ll talk it through.

Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling. The price shown is the price you pay, and the total is shown at checkout before you pay. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not see or store your full card number. Some prices are opening offers. An opening offer price applies while the offer is running, and the usual price is shown next to it.

Day passes

A day pass gives one person a desk for one day, between 8:30am and 6:30pm. You can choose a standard desk or a large desk + monitor, which are priced differently. Day passes can be booked up to a month ahead and are subject to availability.

Your booking is confirmed only when your payment has been taken and you have received our confirmation email. Cancelling or changing a day pass is covered in our Cancellation Policy.

Hourly desks

Hourly desks are walk-in only and subject to availability on the day. You pay by the hour, with a minimum of 2 hours, at the hourly rate shown on our Pricing page. The large desk + monitor is charged at its own hourly rate. Unlimited black tea (with or without milk) and filter coffee are included.

Memberships

A membership is a monthly subscription. You pay in advance by card through Stripe, and it renews automatically each month until you cancel.

• 5 Days and 10 Days (including the large desk + monitor versions) include 5 or 10 desk days in each monthly billing period. You book each day at least 24 hours before it starts, subject to space.
• Flex Desk gives you a place at any standard desk and Your Desk gives you your own fixed large desk + monitor, on every day we’re open within your paid period. A place is kept for you and booked for you automatically, so there is nothing to book.
• Flex Desk includes 2 hours of meeting room use each month and Your Desk includes 4 hours. Meeting room hours are booked through reception (ask at the desk or email info@perspectivecoworking.co.uk), apply to each billing period, do not carry over and cannot be exchanged for money. Extra hours are charged at the normal rate.
• Days must be booked and used within the billing period they belong to. Unused days do not carry over.
• You can book desk days up to a month ahead, and only for dates within a period you have paid for.
• A membership is for you only and cannot be shared or transferred.
• Days we are closed, such as bank holidays, cannot be booked and do not count towards your allowance.
• Joining a waiting list is free and does not hold or reserve a place. When a place opens we email the people on the list, and places are first come, first served.

Guests

You can bring a guest, but they need a desk of their own and must pay the day pass or hourly rate like anyone else. Guests cannot use your membership or its allowance. You are responsible for your guest’s behaviour and for any damage they cause.

Large desk + monitor plans

5 Days and 10 Days are also available as large desk + monitor plans, and Your Desk is a large desk + monitor plan. These include a large desk + monitor on every day you book. Large desk + monitor plans are limited in number, so they may sometimes be sold out. If we are ever unable to give you a large desk + monitor on a day you have booked, we will put it right fairly, which may include returning that day to your allowance.

Opening offers

Some of our memberships have an opening offer price for your first month. The usual price is shown next to the offer price. The offer applies to the first month only, and your membership then renews at the usual price. The offer is for new members and may be withdrawn or changed at any time. Ending an offer does not affect memberships already bought.

Meeting room

We have multiple meeting rooms, each costing £20 per hour. Anyone can hire them, whether or not they are a member. Meeting room hire is arranged and paid for at the desk, subject to availability. Flex Desk members get 2 hours of meeting room use each month and Your Desk members get 4 hours. Included hours must be used within the billing period they belong to, do not carry over and cannot be exchanged for money. Hours beyond your allowance are charged at the normal rate. To cancel a meeting room booking, tell us at least 24 hours before. Later cancellations and no-shows are charged. Our large space is also available to hire for events; email us for details.

Phone booths

The phone booths are free to use when available, for up to 1 hour at a time, for calls and video calls. They cannot be reserved. Please keep to the time limit if others are waiting.

Automatic renewal

Memberships renew automatically every month, and we take the usual monthly price from the card you paid with, until you cancel. We will email you a reminder about a week before each renewal, with the date and the amount. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing info@perspectivecoworking.co.uk. To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel before your renewal date. Your membership then ends at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you can keep using it until then. If you cancel on or after the renewal date, that renewal will still be taken. Your legal right to cancel within 14 days of first buying is explained below.

Changing prices

We may change the price of a membership, including when an opening offer ends. We will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before the new price applies to you. If you do not want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged it.

Your right to cancel

If you buy a membership online as a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of buying it. When you buy, you ask us to start your membership straight away, so if you cancel within the 14 days you pay for the days you have already used, in proportion to the price. Day passes are for a specific date, so the 14-day right does not apply to them, but you have our free cancellation period instead. The details, including how any refund is worked out, are in our Cancellation Policy.

After the first 14 days, you can cancel a membership at any time. It stays active until the end of the billing period you have paid for, and we do not refund the part of a period that has already started.

If a payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, we will email you a link to update your payment details. You may not be able to make new bookings until it is resolved. If it is not resolved in a reasonable time, we may end your membership and cancel bookings that have not yet happened.

Using the space

Please be considerate to other people. Keep noise to a reasonable level, take calls in the phone booths, keep your area tidy and look after the furniture and equipment, including monitors. You are responsible for your own belongings and should not leave valuables unattended.

Monitors and other equipment are for use at your desk and must not be removed from the space.

If you or your guest damage anything through misuse or carelessness, you must pay for it to be repaired or replaced.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi is provided for ordinary work use. You use it at your own risk and are responsible for the security of your own devices. You must not use it for anything unlawful or in a way that slows it down for other people.

CCTV

We use CCTV in the space for the safety and security of members, staff and the building. See our Privacy Policy for how we use footage.

If we have to change or cancel

If we have to close or cancel a booking, we will tell you as soon as we can and offer you a full refund or a new date.

If we have to close the space for a day or more during your membership, we will either refund the part of your fee for the days you could not use, or extend your membership by the same number of days, whichever you prefer.

Ending your access

We may refuse entry, or end a booking or membership, if someone’s behaviour puts other people, the space or our staff at risk, or if these Terms are broken. We will explain why and, where it is fair, refund any part of the period you have paid for that you can no longer use. If you think we have got this wrong, email us and we will review it.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these Terms or failing to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses such as lost profit. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to your belongings except where it is caused by our negligence.

If you are buying for a business rather than as a consumer, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. This does not apply to anything that cannot be limited by law, as described above.

Your legal rights

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, please email info@perspectivecoworking.co.uk and we will do our best to put it right quickly.

Privacy

How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on this page applies to bookings and purchases made after the date shown. Changes will not affect a booking or membership you have already made, except where the law requires, or as set out in “Changing prices” above. If a change makes your membership materially worse for you, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and any rights you have under the law there are not affected.
